Condition When Bought: Fair condition. As aforementioned this unit of Donkey Kong Jr. came in a Donkey Kong cabinet. There was no side art and no front instruction or coin decals. The joystick was loose too. The original marquee light fixture didn't work.


Bought From: Home Arcade & Jukebox Co.


Improvements Made:

  • Swapped all Donkey Kong Jr. parts into the correct dedicated Nintendo cabinet (orange)
  • Installed new marquee light fixture (not original)
  • Installed reproduction side art available at arcadeRenovations.com
  • Installed reproduction control panel overlay available at arcadeRenovations.com
  • Installed reproduction instruction sticker and $.25 sticker available at arcadeShop.com
  • Installed "new" used original Nintendo joystick
  • Installed NOS original coin mechanisms found on Ebay
  • Replaced the base of the cabinet with stronger wood pieces
  • Installed reproduction Nintendo push buttons
  • Installed a new custom 19" arcade monitor

To-Do List: Install a new power supply and wiring harness.

Status: Very good condition. 100% dedicated and working.
